…As Engr. Jude appreciate Nigerians for the success of tournament
As the Agege-Jude Football Tournament comes to an end yesterday, the Gbaramatu Kingdom football team crushed their Isaba Kingdom counterparts 2-0 to win the cup as champions at the Akori Primary School Field Pere-ama in Isaba, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The congratulatory message read below:
A heartfelt thank you message from Engr. Jude Akpodubakaye on the successful hosting of the maiden edition of the Omo-Agege-Jude Football Empowerment Tournament in Isaba kingdom.
I want to use this medium to sincerely express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who made immense personal sacrifices and contributions to make the madein edition of the Omo-Agege-Jude Football Empowerment Tournament for community clubsides in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State a very peacedul and successful event.
Thank you for the outstanding work you did to make the madein edition of the epoch making soccer tournament a huge success. The 3-days event was peaceful and enjoyable because of the way and manner all participants conducted themselves.
I am so grateful to the leadership of Isaba kingdom and all the other communities that participated in the madein edition, particularly the chiefs, the central governing council, the youths, women groups, men of God, the security operatives, the community vigilante and all other local security outfits of Isaba kingdom that played one role or the other to ensure that the hosting of the soccer tournament in Isaba kingdom was hitch-free.

hose who were able to attend the event will agree that it was worth every minute of their time.
I was extremely impressed with the peaceful conduct of the players from the various clubs that participated in the soccer tournament for their perfect coordination and cooperation on the field of play. The match officials were very thorough in discharging the job professionally.
I also want to express my sincere appreciation to the organising committee of the tournament for the foresight and advance planning, which made the friendly soccer competition such amazing success. I value the insights and guidance you provided.
The media team was wonderful in their coverage of the soccer tournament. Their efforts in giving the tournament such a massive publicity the various news channels attracted a great deal of attention and praise. I say well done.
I want specially commend the various artists that performed at the tournament for their inspiring renditions and jokes which added colour as well as doused tensions.
I truly appreciate all the dignitaries that attended the event, particularly the delegation from the Deputy Senate President and APC governorship candidate for Delta State, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, High Chief Michael Johnny, among others for the confidence they showed in me.
I congratulate the Gbaramatu Nation team for emerging the overall winner of the madein edition of the Omo-Agege-Jude Football Empowerment Tournament 2023, the second runner up, Isaba Nation and the host for on your brilliant performance and professionalism on the field of play.
I am so proud of the teams that represented the Itsekiri Nation and that of Ogbe-Ijoh for their maturity and display of good sportsmanship.
