Nigeria’s Minister of petroleum Resources, Timipre sylva, says the Federal Government is doing everything possible to end the perennial fuel scarcity across the country.

Sylva said this when he embarked on a tour of some fuel stations across the Nigerian capital on Friday.

The Fuel queues have refused to disappear despite sales of premium motor spirit, pms, by most fuel stations in Abuja.

Minister of state for petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva had a One on One interaction with some motorists buying petrol at some of the fuel stations.

Some of them noted that the lack of cash occasioned by the redesigned naira notes has further worsened their sufferings.

The petroleum minister however said that the committee set up by president Muhammadu Buhari would be inaugurated next week to provide practical solutions to the fuel scarcity and the high price disparities of premium Motor Spirit, pms, across the country.

The Minister told Nigerians to bear with government as efforts are ongoing to permanently address the fuel supply and distribution chain in the country.
