…As Ejele scores Agediga, Burutu PDP high

Shedrack Agediga on Sunday met with leaders of all Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) structures across Burutu Local Government Area to preach the PDP 6/6 mantra ahead of the 2023 general elections. The meeting which was held at the Jubilee mini Hall at Enerhen in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State saw critical stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party across Burutu Local Government Area that were in attendance.

However, in his remark during the meeting, Agediga noted that although he is not contesting any of the elective positions in 2023, stressing that since he is occupying a political space as the Executive Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), he deemed it necessary to contribute his quota towards the victory of all PDP candidates from Presidency to the Delta State House of Assembly hence the formation of the Team Shedrack Agediga Riverine Mobilisation for PDP, a group for which he is the Director General.

Amb. Dr. Shedrack Agediga while lauding the Burutu PDP Grassroot Structures for turning out in their numbers had tasked everyone to work hard in ensuring that PDP wins in all the elective positions in Burutu.

“I appreciate everyone for attending the meeting, by his grace I am the one that particularly called for this meeting because i am occupying a political space by virtue of being the ED, PRS, DESOPADEC, i felt like encouraging the critical stakeholders which is you people that have gathered here for working for the party so far.

“PDP is on ground in Delta and in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, hence since Saturday is the Presidential and Senatorial election, there is need to meet and encourage you people financially and otherwise.

“I may not have enough but just see whatever that I am giving to you as a token of my appreciation for the good works that you have been doing over time.

“In Burutu, it is 6/6. I am working to ensure that we deliver PDP at all level in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. The Team Shedrack Agediga Riverine Mobilisation for PDP is out to deliver all PDP candidates in Burutu Local Government Area.

“For Presidency, we will vote for Atiku/Okowa, for Governorship Sheriff Oborevwori/Monday Onyeme, Senate Ejele, House of Representatives, Hon. Julius Pondi, House of Assembly, Burutu North, Asupa Peter Forteta and Burutu South, Delta State House of Assembly is Chief Peres Oloye. ” Agediga added.

On her part, Hon. Dr. Evang. Prince Michael Diden, popularly known as Ejele, PDP Delta South Senatorial Candidate who was represented by his wife Mrs Mary Michael Diden had particularly appreciated Agediga for hosting such an important meeting, stressing that the DESOPADEC, ED, PRS has made her work easy by assembling the Burutu PDP Grassroot Structures.

Mrs Ejele particularly scored Agediga and the Burutu Local Government PDP high, praying that the Lord Almighty shall continue to bless Agediga and the PDP family in Burutu Local Government, she also appealed to the leaders to vote massively for her husband and other PDP candidates.

Speaking further, Mrs Diden had assured the people of Burutu Local Government Area that Ejele will make a good Senator if elected, stressing that Ejele will surely repay the people of Burutu with kindness, productive representation and reasonable development.

“I don’t know where to start from, I want to thank Agediga for doing everything by making things easy for me. My message for all of you is that i am appealing to you all that you should ensure that you vote my husband Ejele for Senate Delta South.

“Without Burutu, my husband cannot represent Delta South, I know that my husband will remember you people with effective representation and meaningful development, Burutu Local Government will enjoy with Ejele in the Senate. Some of your PDP leaders are his friends.

“Shedrack Agediga has finished everything, I don’t have much to say again, may God continue to bless Agediga for humanity.” Mrs Ejele stated.

Hon. Mike Izonfade, former vice chairman of Burutu Local Government Area and coordinator ward 4 had assured Agediga that he is a good man, stressing that they will work to perfect and deliver all the PDP Candidates.

“These group of persons called by Agediga today are the right persons that are on ground to deliver in the forthcoming elections because it has to do with the people at the grassroot. Agediga is truly a wonderful man, we are proud of him.” Richard Tuedon, coordinator ward 7, Burutu Local Government.

“Shedrack Agediga is no doubt a blessing to humanity, we are going to vote for all the PDP Candidates, we are seeing Agediga as a great man that we cannot toil with. Whatever he says as women in Ogulagha Kingdom, we follow.

“We also asked that when we must have voted your husband into power, he should remember the Burutu women. Ejele is no doubt a good man. ” Anna Appah spoke on behalf of the women in the meeting.

Present during the meeting incude,PDP Ward Chairmen across Burutu Local Government, PDP Women Leaders across Burutu Local Government, PDP Youth leaders across Burutu Local Government, PDP ward coordinators across Burutu Local Government, Ogulagha women in politics, Ogulagha Urban Women, Burutu Local Government PDP Exco, Members of the Team Shedrack Agediga Riverine Mobilisation for PDP and others too numerous to mention.

It would be recalled that Mrs Mary Michael Diden was accompanied to the meeting by Chief Mrs Anidi, Warri North Women Leader, Warri South and Warri South West Local Government women Leaders and others too numerous to mention.

Comr. Success Osai Ovie, SA to the Governor of Delta State on Special duties, Media and his team were on ground, Comr. Ogbe Collins and others were present.
