Founding fathers of one of the most revered Niger Delta freedom group operating under the auspices of Meinbutus have met to begin the process of electing new leadership of the group.

The decision to elect new leadership to pilot the affairs of the group was reached in a meeting held in Warri recently by founding fathers of the body.

The founding fathers have warned that no one or group of persons within the Meinbutus have the power to set up electoral committee or begin transition process without due process or consultation with leaders of the union.

In the meeting, as part of resolutions reached at the end of the critical meeting, the leaders resolved that the process of electing the new leadership will begin soon.

The communique read below:

The founding fathers of Meinbutus Federated Communities world-Wide met on the 5th of April, 2023 and took the following critical decisions (Communique):

(1), That no sole person or group of persons who has the right to take critical resolution without the input of the founding fathers.

(2). That nobody or group of persons has the right to call for a meeting to set up eleco without the consent of the founding fathers, and as such should be ignored by the general public.

(3). That in the upcoming days, the founding fathers will call for a general meeting to kick start the process of producing the next national chairman of Meinbutus.
