Matthew Ogbowei, popularly known as Commander Atere from Diebiri Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State has congratulated Chief Boro Opudu on his reappointment as Chairman, Delta State Waterways/Land Security Committee.

Commander Atere issued the congratulatory message to newsmen in Warri yesterday via a statement he personally signed, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.

According to Atere, he noted that Chief Boro Opudu remains the best man for the job, describing the reappointment of Chief Boro Opudu as Chairman of the Delta State Waterways and Land Security Committee as square peg in a square hole.

Speaking further, commander Atere asserted that the appointment is also a reward for hard work, stressing that Chief Opudu worked tirelessly with other leaders across the state to ensure that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) becomes victorious in the just concluded general elections in the state.

Nevertheless, Commander Atere had expressed optimism that Chief Opudu will consolidate on the gains recorded by the committee in the past years and improve on it.

Moreover, Atere said Boro is no doubt a tested, trusted and the best man for the job.

Meanwhile, he had also appreciated His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for reappointing Boro to man the committee as Chairman, adding that Boro will continue to deliver.
