A leading Niger Delta group operating under the auspices of Niger Delta Youth Council (NDYC) has urged President Bola Tinubu to address hardship faced by the Nigerian masses.

The Niger Delta Youth Council made the remark yesterday in Warri after a critical stakeholders meeting in the region via a statement jointly signed by the President of Niger Delta Youth Council (NDYC), Amb. Comr. Mamamu Bene Youkore and Comr. Onitsha Ebikeme Shadrach, Secretary general of the Niger Delta Youth Council.

Speaking on behalf of the group in a statement, the duo of Amb. Comr. Mamamu Bene Youkore, President and Comr. Onitsha Ebikeme Shadrach as Secretary noted that the hardship in Nigeria is becoming so alarming.

According to them, while President Tinubu has been busy drafting policies, the group urged him to prioritize addressing the sufferings of Nigerians.

However, Mamamu and Ebikeme said people must not pretend as if all is well, stressing that life is becoming more and more difficult for Nigerians.

Nevertheless, the duo stated that the Federal Government of Nigeria under the leadership of Tinubu must see how the prices of food stuffs and other commodities in the market can be moderated for the common man.

They continued that the prices of commodities have skyrocketed in the market, coupled with the hike in transport fair.

The group noted that the Senate President of Nigeria, Speaker House of Representatives, Federal Republic of Nigeria and other policy infueciers in the country must ensure that they regulate the market forces to reflect what the poor masses can afford.
