He therefore charged the women to be good ambassadors of female education with a message and mandate to go back to the communities around Arogbo Ibe and vigorously push for female education and teach their children against early pregnancies.
He further reiterated that, it is love for the education of the female child that has driven his foundation to promote such by giving out scholarships to the female child from the primary to university level with a number of them being Doctors, Lawyers, Architects etc.
The leader of the group, Mrs. Kari Jemine, and Mother of the group Mrs. Sarah Esaikumoh, who spoke on behalf of the women appreciated Ajube and his foundation for finding them worthy to be empowered as they offered prayers and wished him success with a promise to take the message back to their various homes.
This call became necessary do to the rate at which female children are mostly dropping out of schools as a result of early pregnancies and other associated issues.
To this end, Ajube called on the various women from Arogbo Ijaw kingdom who are making waves in their various fields to come back home and organize seminars and symposiums that will encourage and drive female education in the kingdom, as he promises to partner with them.
