IYC: Tompolo Embraces 9th NEC, Preach Peace, Unity Of Ijaws
…As President Lokpobiri promises a better IYC

Highly celebrated Niger Delta living legend, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpomupolo, alias Tompolo has embraced the 9th National Executive Council of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide led by Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri.
The revered Niger Delta leader, Chief Government Oweizide Ekpomupolo had while receiving the entire 9th Exco of council have charged President Lokpobiri and his entire team to serve as symbol of unity to the Ijaw people.
However, Tompolo also charged the Jonathan Lokpobiri led exco to always maintain peaceful disposition as they go about discharging their duties as leaders of council.
Nevertheless, the revered Ijaw leader while declaring his support for the 9th NEC maintained that the new leadership should try its best in properly addressing the Ijaw issues in the Nigerian State.
Earlier, in his speech, President Jonathan Lokpobiri had particularly lauded leader Tompolo on his selfless services for Ijaw nation over the years.
Lokpobiri noted that the entire Ijaw nation is proud of him and other stakeholders for their sacrifices, adding that council will never dissapoint the Ijaw people.
In reeling out some of his plans, Jonathan said his administration will soon embark on a familiarisation visit to all kings in Ijaw nation.
Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on environment, Hon (Chief ) Mackdonald Igbadiwei ,Chief Ekomieyefa Uduboh, Chief Ebipade Kari were present in the meeting as leaders.
President Jonathan Lokpobiri was accompanied to Oporoza, the traditional headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom to see the highly revered Niger Delta leader Tompolo by the entire 9th NEC of Council, former President, Barr. Pereotubo Roland Oweilaemi, former President of council, Barr. Eric Omare, Dr. Doubra Collins Okotete, Western Zone Chairman, Barr. Jeremaiah Owoupele, former Spokesman of council, Western Zone Clan Chairmen Forum Chairman, Comr. Ebolo Samuel, Comr. Peter Uduboh, Gbaramatu Clan IYC Chairman with the host of others were present.
