A prominent Niger Delta Chief and renowned philanthropist, High Chief Promise Lawuru, popularly known as the Ozigizaga of the universe has pleaded with the South South music King, Chief Barrister S. Smooth, the paddle of Niger Delta to move on with his music career.

Chief Promise Lawuru who is the Chairman Board of trustee Barrister smooth musical organisation made the call recently in Warri via a statement he personally published on his verified Facebook timeline, a copy of which was obtained by The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.

Lawuru noted that the death of Barrister Smooth’s five band members will continue to be an evalasting scar to the Ijaw music industry and particularly to the paddle of Niger Delta.

Chief Promise have appealed to Smooth that it is now time for the Ijaw living music legend to move on with his music career, stressing that though it is unfortunate but life goes on.

Chief Lawuru’s message of encouragement to Barrister Smooth is coming months after the paddle has been thrown into deep mourning following the demise of the five band members since June 11th 2023.

It was learnt that since the demise of the five band members, Chief Lawuru has always stood by Barrister Smooth through out the burial of the five band members and till this moment.
