Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill, Spokesman of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide made the remark yesterday in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State while reacting to newsmen ahead of President Jonathan Lokpobiri’s birth anniversary celebration billed to commence on Wednesday 25th of October 2023.
According to Binebai, having Jonathan Lokpobiri as President in this era remains one of the best thing that has happened to the Ijaw people at the moment considering the times the Ijaw people are in.
Princewill had particularly called on sons and daughters of Ijaw nation to support programmes and activities of the 9th NEC led by Jonathan Lokpobiri, adding that a lot of transformative activities regarding council and the Ijaws will be taking place soon.
However, Yerin had used the medium to assure the Ijaw people that with Jonathan Lokpobiri and other members of the 9th NEC, Ijaw nation, particularly Council is fully back on track.
Nevertheless, the Spokesman had prayed to the Lord Almighty to continue to guide and protect President Jonathan Lokpobiri, stressing that he is no doubt a blessing to Ijaw nation.
Meanwhile, the image maker of council had expressed optimism that the Lord Almighty shall continue to envelop Jonathan Lokpobiri with more knowledge and unprecedented wisdom to pilot the affairs of council to the admiration of all Ijaws.
