DSIEC Commissioner Seimode Task Staffs To Be More Committed To Duties
One of the newly appointed Electoral Commissioners of the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, (DSIEC) Barr. Friday Edmund Seimode who had since assumed duty following the inauguration of DSIEC’s Board by His Excellency, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori on 25th September, 2023; had another interactive session with the Director and staff of his immediate department, Public Affairs and Communication on Wednesday, 25th October, 2023.
Barr. F. E. Seimode re-echoed the need for staff of his department to further rededicate themselves to duty in order to achieve, collectively, the mandate of the Commission.
He admonished staff of the department to shun negative vices while commending them for the support they had rendered in time past towards the growth of the Commission.
The Electoral Commissioner emphasized that it was fundamental to sustain the tempo and appealed for similar support rendered to his predecessor. He equally promised to look into the myriad of challenges earlier reeled out with a view to seeking optimal solution.
He equally reminded staff of the department to work for the pursuit of excellence and professionalism as he would not settle for less and reiterated the need for team work.
Speaking on behalf of staff of the department, the Director, Mr. Arubi Orugboh extolled the virtues of the Electoral Commissioner and expressed their delight and joy to have him posted to supervise the Department.
He promised to accord him greater support for the department to succeed and prayed Almighty God to help sustain the love, peace and understanding existing in the department.
The meeting had the Assistant Director, Mrs. Maureen Jagbade and Mrs. Patience Nwosa in attendance; others at the meeting were the Head of the Media Unit, Mr. Mike Uzi and his assistant, Mr. Jonathan Ovwighogwo.
