President Jonathan Lokpobiri and his team flew to Kenya yesterday and have since morning moved to the UNEP Headquarters in Nairobi Kenya for the global dialogue on plastic pollution.

The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report that representatives from almost all the countries in the world are gathered here in Nairobi Kenya to speak on this global issue.

However, the engagement which started since on the 13th of November 2023 will continue until 19th of November 2023.

The essence of the programme is to bring the world together to discuss on the need to produce an International legal document on plastic pollution management.

As Ijaw people, plastic pollution is a threat to us because it never decays. It has caused a lot of accidents in our waterways resulting to the death of many, any move to free our environment from such trouble is something that IYC will gladly embrace ” Amb.
