Burutu LGA Race: Duncan Forcados Springs Up, Vows To Deliver Uncommon Leadership

As the Delta State Councils Election draws nearer, a youth friendly leader, Comr. Duncan Forcados has joined the race on who to rule Burutu as the next Local Government Chairman. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.
Comr. Duncan Forcados who hosted some Burutu Local Government Youth leaders in Warri yesterday vowed that if elected as the next Local Government Chairman of Burutu, he will no doubt deliver uncommon leadership to the people of Burutu wherein everyone will be proud of.
According to Duncan, it took him this long to speak on his Burutu Local Government Chairmanship ambition because he was consulting with critical stakeholders for clearance and their opinion about his ambition, stressing that the coast is now clear for him to contest.
He continued that at the moment, haven’t consulted with some leaders and critical stakeholders within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he is boldly coming out to inform all those that think well of a better Burutu Local Government that he is the right choice to deliver Burutu to the promised land.
However, Duncan Forcados asserted that he is well abreast with the myriads of issues that are confronting the entire Burutu Local government Area.
Nevertheless, Forcados said at the moment, Burutu Local Government needs a Chairman that will liaise with the House of Representatives member, leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, the Governor of Delta State, stakeholders, interventionist agencies in the state and beyond to massively draw the long overdue development to the Local Government.
Speaking further, Forcados maintained that if elected, his administration will prioritise youth and women empowerment, adding that he will set up mechanisms to encourage students of Burutu Local Government by particularly working with the National Association of Burutu Local Government Students (NABLOGS ) via a bursary scheme to encourage students education.
Duncan added that he will work closely with community leaderships across Burutu Local Government in ensuring that the people directly feels the positive impact of governance in Burutu like never before under his reign as Chairman.
Meanwhile, Forcados had particularly appealed to the leadership of PDP in Burutu Local Government and its leaders to support and see his ambition as the liberation mandate for the Local Government, adding that leaders and the masses will be given their due recognition.
The Burutu Local Government Chairmanship hopeful, Duncan Forcados while assuring the people of Burutu of consolidating and improving on the gains recorded by previous administrations in Burutu also informed leaders and party faithfuls that his official declaration will be made soon.
