IYC Commends Hon Ebosa For Peace In Niger Delta, Engaging Ijaw Youths

The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide has commended a prominent Niger Delta Itsekiri born leader, Hon. Dr. Godwin Ebosa for contributing towards the sustenance peace in Niger Delta.
Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill, Spokesman Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) made the commendation on Friday 4th of November 2024 at the mansion of Hon. Godwin Ebosa in Sapele, Delta State during a courtesy visit he paid to the highly Itsekiri born business tycoon.
The Spokesman of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill while speaking during the visit had particularly described Ebosa as a man of selflessness whose sacrifices in building a peaceful and united Niger Delta cannot be overemphasised.
Binebai asserted that the IYC decided to pay a courtesy visit to Hon. Godwin Ebosa, a leader in Niger Delta for carrying many Ijaw youths along and transforming their lives for good.
Princewill noted that the Ijaw Youth Council will always embrace and commend friends of Ijaw nation and individuals that have positively impacted on the lives of Ijaw sons and daughters as well as our communities and the Niger Delta region at large.
The IYC particularly lauded Ebosa for playing a critical role in uniting the Itsekiris and the Ijaws from his own end, adding that the Ijaws and Itsekiris should always be seen as brothers and sisters, stressing that there are so many Ijaws that have Itsekiri affiliation likewise Itsekiris having Ijaw affiliation.
The Niger Delta Youth leader, Princewill maintained that the IYC cannot keep quiet without identifying and commending Ebosa, stressing that his chains of businesses within the Niger Delta and beyond have employed countless Ijaw sons and daughters that are living comfortably through his benevolence, he has positively touched and transformed many lives in Ijaw.
In a swift reaction, leader Dr. Ebosa had while commending the IYC for the move stated that it is a truism that the Ijaws and Itsekiris are one, stressing that same issues affecting the Ijaws are same issues affecting the Itsekiris, stressing that the ethnic groups are sharing same environment.
The Niger Delta Itsekiri born leader had assured the IYC of his continued support as long as God keeps blessing him, stating that peace must and should be embraced at all cost, adding that violence and crisis should be discouraged by all means necessary.
He particularly charged the Ijaw Youths to always encourage peaceful coexistence among Niger Delta tribes, noting that so far so good, he is proud of the IYC and other prominent Youth organisations within the Niger Delta region that have always promoted peace and development.
