Delta Ijaw APC Leaders Pass Vote Of Confidence On Tinubu, Ganduje, Otuaro
…Says party is pleased with Otuaro as a rare reformer in PAP.
Ijaw All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Delta State have issued a communique passing a vote of confidence on the president, federal republic of Nigeria, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the gradual transformation of Nigeria and for
appointing for the first time a Deltan Ijaw as coordinator presidential amnesty programme, Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro Ph.D, the National Chairman of our great party, His Excellency Umar Ganduje, for the gains of APC under his able leadership within this period and Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro Ph.D, for his transformation and dedication to
the growth of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
This was contained in a communique signed by Hon. Amabiri Paul Azorbo, Aduitor APC Delta State, Comr. Napoleon Keneredi, APC Youth leader Delta State with Bomadi, Patani and Burutu Local Government party Chairmen and ward Chairmen, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide yesterday.
The communique had particularly heaped praises on Otuaro, stressing that the APC in Delta State is pleased with Otuaro and his transformational leadership in PAP.
The communique read in full below:
A COMMUNIQUE ARISING FROM A MEETING OF DELTA APC IJAW LEADERS, COMPRISING OF WARD CHAIRMEN, LGA CHAIRMEN
AND STATE OFFICERS TO ADDRESS INCESSANT ATTACKS AIMED AT DOWNPLAYING AND RIDICULING THE TRANSFORMATIONAL DRIVE OF CHIEF DR. DENNIS BRUTU OTUARO AT THE
PRESIDENTIAL AMNESTY PROGRAMME
First, we will like to reaffirm our support and gratitude to Mr. President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for appointing Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro as the coordinator, Presidential Amnesty Programme. Our appreciation once again still goes to our able national Chairman His Excellency Umar Ganduje for the roles he played in ensuring the amnesty boss position at least comes to Delta state this time around.
However, we are compelled yet again to address this ugly trend of downplaying and ridiculing the genuine efforts of Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro at the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
These attacks are particularly coming from certain people whose stuck in trade is to blackmail and promote scandalous publications for a token; so, they will go any length to ensure there is no tranquility. Rather than embrace and support the good works of Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro at
the amnesty office.
We want to assure these traducers that, sponsored attacks are not new. All
the predecessors of Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro faced similar “pull him down” syndrome in the form of perpetual online attacks. In the case of Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, he is gradually transforming the programme; thus, your online attacks will yield nothing but dust and exhaustion.
The amnesty boss has shown his zeal in promoting the ever needed sustainable peace in our dear Niger Delta area through the Amnesty Programme and in collaboration with other sister agencies. We are all obligated to support this young revolutionary as he gradually introduces transformation to the Amnesty Programme.
This man is loaded in qualification to run the amnesty Programme. A refined scholar with a PhD in comparative politics and development studies, an MSc in public administration and first degree in political science. He also
has tier 1 experience as a top level executive of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). You can’t question the credibility and
capacity of such person in the administration of the amnesty Programme.
The Delta state APC family, particularly the Ijaws in Delta APC are solidly behind Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro as he genuinely and wholeheartedly discharges his duties in the amnesty office.
This is the first time the position is coming to Delta state and we expect all to support Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro to succeed as we have supported others in time past.
On this note, we want to specially pass a vote of confidence on:
- The president, federal republic of Nigeria, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the gradual transformation of Nigeria. And for
appointing for the first time a Deltan Ijaw as coordinator presidential amnesty programme, Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro Ph.D - The National Chairman of our great party, His Excellency Umar Ganduje, for the gains of our party under his able leadership under this short period.
- Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro Ph.D, for his transformation and dedication to
the growth of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
Cc:
- His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, president federal republic of Nigeria
- The National Chairman All Progressives Congress (APC), His excellency
Umar Ganduje - The National Security adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu
