Odimodi Youths Appreciate Governor Oborevwori On Completed 12.5km Road Project
Appeal for 3km internal road network in Odimodi

Youths of Odimodi and its Federated Communities in Iduwini Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have lauded His Excellency, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State for the rehabilitation of the 12.5km Odimodi -Ogulagha Road Project.
The appreciation message was contained in a statement personally signed and made available to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide by Comr. Cyril Laide, President Odimodi Youth Movement on behalf of the entire youths of Odimodi and its Federated Communities.
It would be recalled that His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State on Wednesday 12th of November 2025 stormed Odimodi and Ogulagha Communities in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State to commission the 12.5km reconstructed Odimodi-Ogulagha Road Project under his administration as Governor of the State.
The youth President, Comr. Laide Cyril while appreciating the Governor noted that the appreciation is necessary considering the deplorable state of the road for decades despite the economic importance of the road under the watch of previous administrations in the state, adding that the road is the major access road linking Odimodi to Ogulagha and other communities in the area, stating that the community is grateful and will remain hugely indebted to the Governor.
The statement maintained that by the Oborevwori’s Government coming to rehabilitate the hitherto deplorable road shows that Governor Oborevwori is serious with the Governance of the state and committed in delivering laudable projects in all parts of the state, stressing that the “Ukodo is truly spreading to all parts of the state “.
Speaking further, the President of Odimodi Youth Movement had also appreciated Rt. Hon Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency for influencing the road project, adding that the Odimodi Youths are very proud of him.
Nevertheless, Cyril had also acknowledged the role played by Rt. Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, Speaker Delta State House of Assembly and others who worked hard to ensure the completion of the project.
Moreover, Laide noted that the appreciation message will be incomplete without lauding Lakaseri Global Resources, the contracting firm that delivered the road project smoothly, stating that Hon. George Ekpemupolo’s company is truly one of the best in the road and infrastructural construction World, Lakaseri Global Resources is a subsidiary of GEECOMS INTEGRATED (Geecoms Int Services).
Meanwhile, the Odimodi Youth President had particularly appealed to Governor Oborevwori to reconsider approving 3km internal road network to connect Odimodi community, stressing that the people of Odimodi community will deeply appreciate it.
Laide also thank the peaceful cooperation of youths from both Odimodi and Ogulagha Communities for the smooth execution of the road project.
