Best Graduating Students in Delta State‑Owned Universities to Enjoy Automatic Scholarship
The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board wishes to announce that His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State, has approved automatic scholarship awards for the best graduating students of the four (4) Delta State‑owned universities. This approval is part of Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to advancing academic excellence and encouraging deserving students to pursue higher education.
The scholarship aligns with the M.O.R.E. Agenda’s priority on Youth Development, Empowerment, and Human Capital Enhancement. Beneficiaries will be the Best Graduating Student in each academic session from the following state‑owned universities:
- Delta State University, Abraka
- Southern Delta University, Ozoro
- University of Delta, Agbor
- Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba
Under this scheme, each recipient will receive funding to pursue Master’s and Ph.D. degrees at recognized universities in Nigeria, subject to standard scholarship processes and documentation.
The Board remains committed to creating opportunities that build a vibrant, globally competitive youth population in Delta State.
