Yinkore, a founding member of the revered Meinbutu organization, a critical stakeholder of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, and a respected leader in the Ijaw nation, also commended the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding Tantita worthy of the contract.
He stated that the decision by the Federal Government has yielded positive results, noting that the company has lived up to expectations in securing critical oil infrastructure and curbing illegal activities in the region.
The traditional leader praised the leadership of High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), describing him as a respected and dependable figure in the Niger Delta who is known for always delivering on responsibilities entrusted to him.
According to Yinkore, Tantita’s track record under Tompolo has further reinforced confidence in the company’s capacity to sustain progress in the region.
He noted that the operations of Tantita have contributed to increased crude oil production, improved revenue for the Nigerian economy, restoration of aquatic life, and the return of relative peace across the Niger Delta.
Yinkore also highlighted the empowerment of youths and women in the region through employment and engagement opportunities created by the company.
He chided critics of Tompolo and Tantita, urging them to desist from actions capable of undermining the gains recorded, and called on all stakeholders to queue behind Tompolo in the interest of unity and development.
He emphasized that with continued support from the Federal Government and collaboration among stakeholders, the Niger Delta will experience sustained peace, growth, and prosperity.
