…30 more entrepreneurs receive ₦10m each as initiative deepens impact nationwide

In a bold move to further empower entrepreneurs and stimulate grassroots economic growth, the Kestin Pondi Business Grant has disbursed an additional ₦300 million to 30 new beneficiaries, bringing the total number of recipients under the 2.0 initiative to 80.

The latest disbursement fulfills a promise made by High Chief Engr. Kestin Pondi, alongside High Chief Tare Godfrey Pondi, Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka, and Chief Festus M. Ochonogor, during the first batch presentation held on March 9, 2026.

Each of the 30 beneficiaries received ₦10 million, reinforcing the programme’s commitment to nurturing sustainable businesses and expanding economic opportunities across Nigeria.

The presentation ceremony, held at the MBB Consortium in Effurun, Delta State, featured a business seminar and an engaging panel session with beneficiaries from the 2025 edition, offering insights and guidance to the new recipients.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Organising Committee, Mr. Victor Isereke, underscored the vision behind the initiative, describing it as a strategic intervention aimed at fostering long-term business growth and national development. He urged beneficiaries to deploy the funds wisely in building viable and impactful enterprises.

Also addressing participants, Tantita Administrative Manager, Miss Daisy Jaja, delivered a strong message on discipline and accountability.

“Do not fail the sponsors. This fund is a seed meant to be planted, not consumed. Let your success story position you as mentors in the future,” she advised.

Beneficiaries, overwhelmed with gratitude, described the grant as life-changing. One recipient called it a “dream come true,” citing the challenges of accessing such capital through conventional financial institutions. Another referred to the initiative as “divine grace,” hailing High Chief Engr. Kestin Pondi as “an angel in human form,” and pledging to make the sponsors proud.

With the disbursement now completed, beneficiaries are set to undergo a post-grant business development programme—an initiative designed to provide lifetime mentorship and guidance from seasoned business coaches to ensure sustainability and growth.

The Kestin Pondi Business Grant continues to stand as a beacon of hope, transforming lives, empowering entrepreneurs, and driving inclusive economic development across the nation.
