2027: Lawuru Pledges Vibrant Representation, Unity For Warri Federal Constituency

High Chief Promise Lawuru, an aspirant for the House of Representatives in Warri Federal Constituency, has assured residents of robust, people-oriented representation if elected in the 2027 general elections.
Lawuru made the pledge while outlining his vision for the constituency, stressing that his leadership would be anchored on inclusiveness, unity, and purposeful development. He said Warri’s strength lies in its diversity and called for sustained harmony among all ethnic groups within the constituency.
The aspirant emphasised the need to foster unity among the Ijaw, Itsekiri, Urhobo and other communities, noting that collective progress can only be achieved when leaders and citizens work together irrespective of ethnic differences. He promised to collaborate closely with traditional rulers, community leaders, youth groups and stakeholders across all divides to ensure inclusive governance.
According to him, his representation at the National Assembly would be marked by active engagement, strategic lawmaking and effective advocacy for the needs of the people. He pledged to consistently table critical issues affecting Warri Federal Constituency on the floor of the Green Chamber, ensuring that the voices of constituents are heard at the national level.
Lawuru further assured that he would leverage his network and experience to influence key federal projects and programmes to the constituency. He said priority would be given to infrastructure development, youth empowerment, job creation, and improved social services.
The aspirant also promised to work with relevant government agencies, development partners and private sector stakeholders to attract meaningful investments that would boost economic growth and improve living standards in the area.
Reiterating his commitment to good governance, Lawuru said his agenda is built on transparency, accountability and service to the people. He added that his candidacy represents a fresh opportunity to reposition Warri Federal Constituency for sustainable development.
“With unity, strategic leadership and collective effort, we can make Warri Federal Constituency thrive again. My mission is to provide vibrant and effective representation that delivers real results for our people,” he said.
