Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Friday, October 23, 2026, inaugurated the national headquarters of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Abuja as the organisation intensifies grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The inauguration attracted prominent political figures, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Speaking at the event, the First Lady charged members of the movement to intensify grassroots engagement by reaching out to Nigerians peacefully and communicating the policies and achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
She urged members to promote hope, unity, development and shared prosperity while taking the administration’s Renewed Hope message to households and communities across the country.

The movement’s Grand Patron, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, reaffirmed his commitment to expanding the organisation’s mobilisation activities nationwide.

Tompolo, who spoke through Chief Kestin Pondi, disclosed that the movement had already extended its campaign activities to 14 states, underscoring its efforts to establish a broader grassroots presence ahead of the 2027 general election.

The inauguration of the national headquarters is expected to strengthen the movement’s coordination, organisational structure and community engagement as it works to reach more Nigerians through door-to-door campaigns.

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement aims to take its message to households, markets and communities across the country, using grassroots engagement to communicate the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration.

With the national headquarters now inaugurated, the movement is seeking to consolidate its existing structures and expand its reach as preparations for the 2027 presidential election gather momentum.

Operating under the slogan, “Door Matters! Every Community Counts!”, the movement says its approach places emphasis on community-level engagement and nationwide mobilisation in support of President Tinubu’s political agenda.
