DESOPADEC: Its now Diebiri’s turn to produce the Ijaw commissioner – Gbozimor

A youth leader in Diebiri Kingdom, Comr. John Gbozimor has informed the Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi A. Okowa that it is now the turn of Diebiri Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area to produce the next commissioner that will represent the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC.

Comr. John made the call yesterday via a press statement issued to newsmen in Warri, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.

He had noted that the Governor must critically look into the issue in order to do justice to the matter, stressing that since the creation of the commission, Diebiri despites its enormous oil facilities is yet to produce the commissioner representing the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality in Delta State, adding that the time is now.

He had maintained that in following the rotation principle of the commission, Diebiri is now the next in line to produce the commissioner.

“This should not generate any dust, as Diebiri people, we have capable and highly competent hands to deliver in any leadership position in Delta State and Nigeria at large.” Gbozimor stated.
