NUOS congratulates King Etopo, decries deteriorating educational standard in Umbi Kingdom

The leadership of the National Union of Obotebe Students Worldwide (NUOS) has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Emmanuel Warewini Arikawei Etopo, Ogisi 1, paramount ruler of Obotebe Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

President of the group, Comr. Tare Philip Magbei echoes that the official presentation of staff of office to the revered traditional ruler of Obotebe Kingdom by the Delta State government is timely as it has been long overdue.

“King Itopo has lived up to prove his worthiness as king while demonstrating his wherewithal to lead the good people of Obotebe Kingdom with projects geared towards bringing development to the Umbi people” the NUOS president stated.

Comrade Magbei urges King Etopo to continue with his good works while suing for proper maintenance of peaceful coexistence and harmony among the good people of Obotebe.

The body also urges the monarch to look into the educational advancement in the kingdom as father of all students in the kingdom, noting that the unavailability of teachers within schools in the Kingdom is truly worrisome, explaining that library and laboratory are major drawbacks facing the Ogini Primary School and Obotebe Secondary school in Obotebe community.

The body also poured encomiums of appreciation on his contribution towards the ICT Center project embarked by the Comrade Magbei led executives.

It will be recalled that King Etopo had earlier contributed four desktop computers towards the actualization of the ICT Center project.

The National Union of Obotebe students had presented a large portrait photograph as a gift to His Royal Majesty while on a visit to His Royal Majesty’s Residence in Okuokoko recently in Delta State.
