Dekawei Congratulates Pondi On Appointment As House Committee Chairman On SSDC

Renowned Niger Delta Youth leader, Amb. John Dekawei has added his voice to that of other good spirited Niger Deltans in congratulating Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, Member Representing Burutu Federal Constituency on his appointment as Chairman House Committee on South South Development Commission (SSDC).
The famous Niger Delta philanthropist issued the congratulatory message in Lagos yesterday via a statement he personally signed, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
According to him, Ijaw nation is proud of Pondi for playing national politics to the level of being appointed as Chairman House Committee on the just established South South Development Commission (SSDC).
Speaking further, Dekawei maintained that he believes so much in the delivering capacity of Pondi, adding that he will no doubt work together with those in the system to bring the long awaited Development to the people of South South.
However, Amb. John Dekawei asserted that Pondi has no doubt represented the people of Burutu Federal Constituency very well, adding that as Chairman House Committee on Environment, he has the experience and democratic credentials to perform to the satisfaction of everyone in the South South as Chairman House Committee on the SSDC.
Meanwhile, the young philanthropist had appreciated His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Speaker House of Representatives as well as his colleagues in the House of Representatives for the appointment of Pondi, stressing that the Burutu Federal lawmaker will not disappoint in delivering fully on the task.
It would be recalled that John Dekawei is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South South.
Nevertheless, Dekawei had also commended Julius Pondi for dumping the PDP for the APC, stating that Pondi has made the right decision by joining the rulling All Progressives Congress as the PDP has completely lost direction and clear vision, maintaining that the PDP is now an expired party.
Dekawei further described Pondi as a smart politician.
