The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide has extended congratulations to Dr. Pereotubo Peter Akpe on his inauguration as Bayelsa State Deputy Governor.
In a statement on Wednesday 25th of February 2026, IYC Spokesman Amb (Dr) Binebai Yerin Princewill praised Dr. Akpe’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to public service.
The IYC particularly hailed Governor Douye Diri on the choice of Dr. Akpe as Deputy Governor.
