Timiyan (JP), Torububou 1. Agbonu, the Ebezinawei of Ogulagha Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State ahead of the 56th birth anniversary of the paramount ruler. Amb. Francis Boumiebi, one of the revered political leaders in Ogulagha kingdom issued the birthday congratulatory message in a statement he personally signed and circulated to newsmen in Warri yesterday, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper. He particularly stated that there is every reason to celebrate with the paramount ruler of the oil rich Ogulagha Kingdom on his historic royal birth anniversary cum conferment of chieftaincy titles to deserving sons and daughters of the Kingdom. It would be recalled that Amb. Francis was a former Senior Special Assistant, SSA on Community Development, Delta State to Governor Okowa during his first administration. Boumiebi praised king Agbonu on his leadership in the kingdom, stressing that his contact and leadership has paved way for the Kingdom to be recognized politically more than ever since he assumes the highest and most respected throne in the kingdom. In his words: “The Royal throne has recorded enviable achievements under the watch of AGBONU. Ogulagha kingdom is now politically recognized with a lot of government appointments in the current administrations of Governor Okowa. “AGBONU, your fatherly support and Royal blessings has make sons and daughters of this kingdom to excel beyond bound. Man can’t reward you for all the excellent works you have done in making Ogulagha kingdom to become an enviable kingdom. It is my prayer that the Good Lord grant you more Divine wisdom and long life to rule this kingdom to a greater height. “As we celebrate your birthday anniversary on this special and unique day/opening of the new palace conference hall and confirment of chieftaincy tittle to me and others on the 27th march through 4th April,2020. let your Royal blessings be showered on all sons and daughters of this great kingdom. The Joy you have spread in past will be returned to you in a million fold sir.” Amb. Boumiebi Stated Speaking further, the SSA maintained that the leadership of Agbonu has leap frog the Kingdom to a better and higher level, stressing that not man but God shall continue to reward him with sound health and increase him from all corners. The Liberator Newspaper can report that as part of activities marking the birth anniversary of the revered king of Ogulagha Kingdom, he will be conferring chieftaincy titles to deserving sons and daughters of the Kingdom beginning from Friday 27th of March 2020 at his palace in Obotobo I community. It was further learnt that Amb. Francis Boumiebi has also been pegged down as a proposed chief in the kingdom whose conferment among others will take place on 4th of April 2020.
