Former councillor representing Iduwini ward 20, (DSIEC) in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State, Hon. Isaiah Bekenawei has congratulated the Governor of Delta State Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and his deputy Deacon (Barr) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro on the victory recorded during the governorship election in Delta.
Hon. Bekenawei, a councillor whose developmental legacies in Iduwini cannot be easily erased had also congratulated Sen. James E. Manager, member elect, Delta South Senatorial District; Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, member elect Burutu Federal Constituency, House of representatives; Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta, member elect, Burutu North Constituency I, Delta State House of Assembly; Mr. Pullah Ekpotuayerin, member elect, Burutu South Constituency II, Delta State House of Assembly and Mr. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, member elect, Warri South West Constituency, Delta State House of Assembly on their victories.
The Odimodi born politician made the call yesterday in Warri via a statement made available to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
Mr. Isaiah had assured Deltans and the various constituencies that the aforementioned represents a better Delta.
He had expressed confidence on the Delta State 7th Assembly of a robust and better representation that will allay the fears of the people.
However, Bekenawei is one of the respected grassroot politicians in Iduwini ward, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State.
He had noted that the return of Okowa/Otuaro is the best thing that had ever happened to the people of Delta State.
