The Liberator Newspaper’ll liberate N’Delta people, the oppressed in the World -Amb. Binebai

The Management and Staff of the Liberator Newspaper on Saturday said the newspaper will liberate the people of the Niger Delta who have been raped, violated and abused over the years.

The Publisher/Editor-In-Chief of The Liberator Newspaper, Amb. Princewill Yerin Binebai made the assertion during an address he presented at the official launch of the newspaper in Effurun near Warri.

Amb. Binebai said the newspaper will not joke with its editorial content adding that they will adhere strictly to the principles of the journalism profession.

Amb. Binebai said the people of the Niger Delta region have crude oil that they are not accessible to, stressing that the environment has been grossly polluted thereby endangering the lives of its people.

“The level of suffering is manifesting in different dimensions. We don’t have access to our oil. We don’t even have control of the media.

“The media too, most times have been used negatively against the Niger Delta. They see us as evil people. So, the Liberator Newspaper has really come to do some level of checks and balances”.

Amb. Binebai also said the newspaper will report the true story of the Niger Delta people.

He said,” That’s what informed me to establish the Liberator Newspaper ” noting that there will be no form of bias in the reportage of its news content.

Binebai said The Liberator Newspaper will be an agenda setter in the region and will report the truth only as well as ensure its news are balanced, fair and objective.

Amb. Binebai further said he hopes to expand the newspaper office and operations to meet the needs of Nigeria especially the people of the Niger Delta and the oppressed all over the World.

Amb. Binebai said the newspaper will be printing its hard copy monthly just as it will sustain its online platform.
