APC youths in Burutu welcomes Vice President Osinbajo to Ogulagha Kingdom today
Youths under the aegis of Burutu Community All Progressives Congress, APC in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State has welcomed His Excellency Prof. Yemi Osinbajo to Oil rich Ogulagha Kingdom in the Local Government Area of Delta State.
This was made known to newsmen in Burutu, headquarters of the Local Government Area earlier today in a statement signed by its national leader, Comr. Fakah Solomon, popularly known as Ashaka, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
While commending Governor Okowa on the road projects in Ogulagha Kingdom, the group had particularly hailed Prof. Osinbajo, Vice President Federal Republic of Nigeria, describing him as a man of the people.
However, the APC youths of Burutu Community had also called on the Vice President to use his good office together with president Mohammadu Buhari and other relevant stakeholders in the system to remember Burutu Local Government Area with federal projects, adding that despite the huge oil revenue generated from the Local Government, the level of development on the part of the federal government is not really visible.
Mr. Ashaka, speaking on behalf of the group had in the statement maintained that the federal government of Nigeria has not done enough for the growth and development of Ogulagha Kingdom despites its enormous oil and gas resources.
They had particularly described Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State as one of the most peaceful council area in the Niger Delta Region.
According to them, their supports for the APC at the grass root level is unprecedented, stressing that they will continue to do the bidding of the party as it has come with the mantra of taking Nigeria to the next level.
It would be recalled that the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will be coming to Obotobo 1 community in Ogulagha Kingdom to commission 19.5Km road projects in the Kingdom today {Friday July 12th 2019}.
