Angozi congratulates Ibori at 61
One of the most influential political leader in Delta State, Chief (Dr) Braduce Amakazi Angozi. Fcim has congratulated Chief James O. Ibori on his 61st birth anniversary.
Dr. Angozi issued the congratulatory message earlier today in Abuja while extolling the sterling leadership qualities of Chief James Ibori, former Governor of Delta State, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
Amakazi had particularly described Ibori as a great politician in Nigeria, Niger Delta and Delta State in particular, stressing that his dogged stand for resource control while as a governor of Delta State will continue to stand the test of time.
He said the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality in Delta State among other ethnic groups will continue to owe Chief James Ibori in high esteem, noting that the Delta State former Governor is a symbol of unity.
Hon. Braduce owing to his political expertise is popularly known as the political POPE in Nigeria, he is of the Ijaw extraction in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
He had handled several political offices in Delta State, he was a former chairman of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, a position he used in putting smiles on the faces of his people, the aged, women, youths in the Local Government are yet to forget his good deeds as a council chairman back then.
Many in Burutu still regard Dr. Angozi as one of the best council chairman that have ever ruled in the Local Government Area, owing to his sterling and clean records as council chairman, he was later appointed as a commissioner for Agriculture, Delta State.
