Member representing Burutu North in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta, also known as the political Holy Michael and the Odogboru of Africa has congratulated Sen. James E. Manager, senator representing Delta South in the House of senate on his victory at Appeal Court sitting in Benin, Edo State capital.

Hon. Forteta issued the congratulatory message in Asaba yesterday via a statement he personally signed and circulated to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
The Odogboru, often reffered to as king of empowerment by members of his political family further expressed happiness on the Nigerian democracy, stressing that the Judiciary in the country is waxing stronger by the day.
The Burutu North House of Assembly member maintains that the victory of Sen. Manager is indeed a good reason to celebrate.
In his words: “On behalf of the entire people of Burutu North, I wish to congratulate an achiever, a political dynamite and a role model to many in the political annals of Delta State, one of the finest lawmakers in the red chamber, Sen. James E. Manager, senator representing Delta South in the House of senate on his victory, I am so happy for this is a victory for all of us”.
It would be recalled that the Delta State National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Asaba, the state capital, few months ago nullified the election of James Manager, lawmaker representing Delta South Senatorial district in the National Assembly.
But the appeal court on Monday the 4th of November 2019 in Benin City, capital of Edo State equally upturned the judgment of the election petition tribunal which had earlier sacked Sen. James Manager.
Manager had approached the Appellate Court to upturn judgement of the election Tribunal, Asaba, ordering for a rerun at the senatorial district.
With the latest judgment on the matter, Sen. Manager will now freelly sleep with his two eyes closed from any legal tussle regarding the 2019 Delta South senatorial election matter till the next political dispensation.
