​Dekawei Congratulates Tompolo On Court Judgement, Says It Has Proven That The Ijaws Are Not Thieves

President general of a revered Niger Delta socio cultural group under the aegis of Delta Ijaw Youth Movement for Political Advancement (DIYMPA), Amb. John Dekawei has congratulated Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo  on his latest Federal high Court Judgement setting him and others free from charges slammed on them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations bothering on financial fraud. 
President of the Delta Ijaw Youth Movement for Political Advancement (DIYMPA), Amb. John Dekawei stated that the judgement has further proven that the Ijaws in Niger Delta are not thieves as enemies would claim.
Amb. Dekawei made this known to newsmen in Warri yesterday via a statement, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
While congratulating Chief Government Ekpemupolo, the generalissimo of the Niger Delta struggle for better attention, Dekawei had advised that now that his travails are coming to an end, he should go back to his inner chambers to reflect deep and ponder on the unseen forces ahead of tomorrow, which according to him man is destined to face challenges because gold must pass through fire for it to be sanctified. 
The young philanthropist while lauding the Nigerian Judiciary on the judgement, particularly commended president Muhammadu Buhari for not interfering in the judicial process.
Dekawei said President Muhammadu Buhari is a true democrat, adding that he has again proven that he is a president for all Nigerians, stressing that he will continue to owe him in high esteem. 
Amb. John also appealed to the Federal Government of Nigeria to release all hitherto confiscated  properties and funds to Tompolo now that the court has set him free. 
He maintained that men like Tompolo are rare in the present day Niger Delta struggle for a better deal, adding that the agitation of Ekpemupolo, the most dreaded and repented Niger Delta warlord has visibly brought appreciable level of development to the Niger Delta region.
He stressed that Tompolo is a unique leader as his kind gestures have virtually touched a larger number of individuals and communities within the Niger Delta states and  Nigeria at large. 
In his words: “Tompolo is indeed a man with many positive colours, someone that is not a government but doing what most governments can’t do for her citizens, the people of Niger Delta will continue to owe him in high esteem for his penchant love for humanity.
“Tompolo is no doubt a symbol of unity, he spent virtually whatever he has for the liberation, unity and peacefulness of Ijaw nation and Nigeria in general, he is a true ambassador of peace.“
Speaking among other vital issues, Amb. Dekawei has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to make total  peace with Tompolo as he is a man of peace, adding that making peace with him has so many advantages.
