Sarah Smooth Celebrates Birth Anniversary, Advocates For Gender Equality (See Photos)

As parts of activities lined up for the birthday celebration anniversary of Barr. Sarah Smooth, Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on the Girl Child Development, she has appreciated the Lord Almighty for making it possible for her to see her birth anniversary.
Barr. Sarah Smooth while hinting The Liberator Newspaper on how she feels about her birth anniversary, she noted that she will always be thankful to the Lord Almighty and His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Governor of Delta State for her appointment and the visible development the Governor has brought to all nook and cranny of the state.
She said in as much as her joy knows no bounds, Smooth had called for more women empowerment politically, economically and otherwise in the whole of Niger Delta region and the country at large.
The SA to Governor Okowa on the Girl Child Development in Delta State particularly lauded the Governor for allegedly empowering the Girl Child with series of programmes designed to build the Girl Child in Delta State.
Smooth insisted that if previous administrations in Delta State have been dealing and prioritising the Girl Child Development in Delta State like what Governor Okowa is doing, she stressed that the story about the Girl Child in Delta State would have been reasonably changed for the good as there are lots of packages for all those who partake in the state Government programme.
Speaking further, Barr. Sarah Smooth had called on other Niger Delta Governors, ministries, commissions, the Federal Government of Nigeria as well as other parastatals to key into what Okowa is doing in Delta State to develop the Girl Child.
Sarah had particularly called on Deltans to continue to support the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration in Delta as he meant well for all in the State, describing him as detribalized leader.
Meanwhile, it would be recalled that the birthday celebration of Barr. Sarah Smooth took place yesterday within the axis of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State amidst funfare.
Many who would prefer not to be mentioned in print told our reporter that the birthday celebration was indeed a celebration galore as there where alot of merriment and entertainment of dignitaries.
The birthday celebration yesterday witnessed the presence of dignitaries from all walks of life, ranging from politics, business tycoons, activists, media practitioners, entertainers as well as different elegantly dressed Ijaw ladies and what have you.
