Princewill Salutes Tompolo, Kestin, Dibia For Facilitating Appointments Of Ozobo, Ellington, Others
…Says Delta Ijaw Comrade Community Is Happy

Niger Delta human rights activist, Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill has lauded Niger Delta living legend, high Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo for facilitating the appointments of two critical stakeholders of the Delta State Ijaw Comrade Community into the Delta State Government as Special Assistants (SA) to Governor Okowa.
The rights activist had also lauded Chief Kestin Pondi and Sir Tare Pondi, alias Dibia for working behind the scene which culminated in the appointment of the duo into their various offices.
Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill lauded the trio via a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri on Monday, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers.
Speaking further, Princewill stated that while he is aware that Tompolo had used his contacts in influencing lots of appointments into the Delta State Government and other areas in the Nigerian State, lifting young Niger Deltans off the streets, he said the latest appointment of Comr. Austin Ozobo and Priest Ellington Bakumor is very significant and key to the Delta Ijaw Comrade Community.
Princewill stressed that the role of Chief Kestin and Sir Tare Pondi in spotting the two vibrant youths for appointment cannot be overemphasized, praying that the Lord Almighty shall continue to reward them in hundred folds.
Speaking on the capacity of the duo, Yerin maintained that Ozobo and Ellington are proven youth leaders that have over the years demonstrated good leadership in their various capacities as youth leaders in the Niger Delta region, stressing that the appointment is well deserving.
Binebai continued that his appreciation message will be incomplete without thanking His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for finding them worthy of the appointment.
Activist Princewill noted that history has been made in Delta State as Okowa’s appointment of Ozobo and Ellington into his Government as SAs have proven the love he has for youths of the state, adding that the latest political appointees are seasoned youth leaders in Deita State and beyond.
In his words: “The duo of Ellington Bakumorand Ozobo Austin have always proven their leadership acumen over the years without even having anything, they have organized series of programmes defending the Niger Delta region and preaching against violence with the need to always embrace peace as youths, using their hard earned scarce resources over the years.
“I have no iota of doubt in me that now that more feathers have been added to them, they will perform more as they will not betray the confidence reposed in them. Congratulations once again my people ” Princewill asserted.
