NDDC SA On Youth Appointment: APC On Self Destruction – Chieftain Warns
…Addresses presidency, Akpabio
By Ndu Samuel
Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Comr. Solomon Woloko has stated that the purported appointment of Engr. Udengs Eradiri, former president of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide as Special Assistant (SA) to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) sole administrator on youth is a step in a wrong direction for the APC.
The APC chieftain, Mr. Solomon Woloko made the assertion in a statement issued to newsmen in Warri yesterday, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers.
He particularly described the All Progressive Congress (APC) move with regard to the appointment as a party moving on the path of self destruction.
He particularly called on President Muhammadu Buhari, well meaning chieftains of the party and the supervising minister of the NDDC, His Excellency, Sen. Godswill Akpabio to urgently review the appointment by allowing capable Ijaw Youth in the APC to occupy such a position as a reward for party loyalty.
He reiterated that appointing a confirmed PDP man instead of APC is an insult to members of the party, adding that it means that there are no credible people in the APC.
