‘I have listened to your call for me to once again return to the House of representatives. I wish to declare today that having consulted widely and satisfied with our level of performance, I believe there is need for us to consolidate on our programmes and further improve on making our people proud. I have sited constituency projects in all wards and very ready to do more. I therefore state that I am very ready to run once again against whoever that is thrown up against me.’ He said. This followed a call by Hon. Fungeowei Azami in form of a motion for the Honourable member to contest once again and seconded by Mr Frederick Christmas both whom are members of the organisation. The call was unanimously adopted by all members of the organisation who took turns to appraise the Rep’s performance and scored him very high, far better than any other that has represented the constituency before him.

It is worthy of note that Hon. Pondi who found his way to the National Assembly by unseating an incumbent, has constantly made sure he is a voice in the Green chamber. He has a bill to his name, moved several motions and contributed to several debates. He has also ensured that his constituents get justice by laying petitions on the floor and pursue the resolutions to a conclusive end.

The lawmaker has carried out several empowerment programmes and also sited projects in several  wards of the federal constituency
