Lawuru Throws 1Million Naira Worth Of Phone For Ware-Ebi Song Dance Challenge

A high ranking Chief in Niger Delta and a renowned philanthropist, high Chief Promise Lawuru, popularly known as the Ozigizaga of the universe has thrown up a whooping 1Million Naira worth of Samsung phone to challenge other Niger Delta leaders in a dance challenge.

Chief Promise Lawuru, the President general of Egbema Brotherhood made the disclosure to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide yesterday. 

According to him, the Ware-Ebi Song Dance challenge will see High Chief Barrister S. Smooth, Niger Delta living music legend also known as the paddle of Niger Delta, Hon Lucky Youbogha, Chief Diri Ebiegberi , Chief Simeon Bebenimibo and Hon Emmanuel Okusukeme slugging it out among themselves on who wins the dance challenge. 

Chief Lawuru noted that the gesture was to encourage, promote and would serve as his contribution towards the preservation of the fast eroding Ijaw culture, stressing that as leaders of Ijaw nation, it is important for everyone to ensure that the Ijaw culture is promoted and preserved, adding that the Ijaw culture must not die in this generation. 

However, it would be recalled that the trending Ijaw “Ware-Ebi ” song by Fiyebo Endurance, popularly known as Young Joseph on stage had via the song lyrically driven home the point that it is important for every family to have rich and strong people in order to change the fortune of the family  for good. 

Nevertheless, when this reporter contacted Fiyebo on what propelled him to sing the trending ‘Ware-Ebi “song, he explained that the song was derived from the lyrics and wordings of the late Ijaw music lord, Echo Toikumo who had once via his album preached about the importance of Ware-Ebi. 

He continued that the song was done in memory of the late Ijaw music lord, stressing that  in present day, the song depicts modern reality of life, stressing that without having a rich man and brave man or people in a family, such family will find it difficult to succeed in life.

Endurance continued that there is a lot of oppression in the land same way if you don’t have anyone backing you, it will be difficult to secure employment and even move forward in life.

Young Joseph had expressed optimism that he is hopeful that the trending song might add more colour to  his music career, adding that he is thankful to Barrister Smooth, Chief Lawuru, Chief  Joseph Ekeremieye and several others for playing critical role in his life  so far, promising that the best is yet to come. 

Meanwhile, a date for the anticipated big dance challenge is yet to be fixed
