Delta 2023: Iyakonbogha Congratulates Orubebe Over DG Appointment, Declares Support
A youth leader in Delta State, Comr. Sunny Iyakonbogha has congratulated former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs now ministry of Niger Delta, Elder Pst. Godsday Peter Orubebe over his appointment as the Director General (DG) to the Delta State 2023 All Progressives Congress ( APC) Governorship campaign.
Comr. Sunny Iyakonbogha who congratulated Orubebe on the latest political feat while declaring his support stated that the former minister of Niger Delta Affairs who is an Ijaw from Burutu Local Government Area is a perfect man for the job.
He noted that Elder Pst. Godsday Peter Orubebe is his political leader, stressing that anywhere Orubebe goes, he will also go politically.
Speaking further, Iyakonbogha had particularly charged Ijaws in Delta State to take Orubebe’s defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as an advantage to change the Ijaws political fortune for better in Delta State.
However, Comr. Sunny Iyakonbogha noted that the coming days will be interesting politically in Delta State, stressing that Orubebe has made the right decision.
Nevertheless, Iyakonbogha stated that the Ijaws should play real politics come 2023, stressing that the Ijaws in Delta State must not put all their eggs in one basket.
