Former Niger Delta warlord, Chief Ebis Moni who is also former Chairman of Meinbutu has heaped praises on the  Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Col. Milland Dixon Dikio (rtd).

Ebis Moni while heaping praises on Dikio had described him as a reformer, stressing that he has transformed the entire amnesty programme since he was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as the Interim Administrator to coordinate the programme.

The Niger Delta leader made the assertion via a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri yesterday, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 

According to him, the Interim Administrator has taken the amnesty programme to an enviable height, stressing that  he had continued to maintain a smooth relationship with stakeholders of the programme in the region. 

He also lauded Col. Dixon for the prompt payment of monthly stipends to beneficiaries of the programme,  adding that such payments was an issue in previous administrations. 

However, Chief Ebis Moni noted that well meaning Niger Deltans are proud of the Amnesty Interim Administrator for introducing so many new innovations into the programme, stressing that he has proven to the region that he is a man with capacity. 

Nevertheless, the former Meinbutu leader had called on Niger Deltans to continue to give their support to Dikio and not the other way round, adding that he is one of the best thing that has ever happened to the Amnesty programme.

Speaking further, Moni declared that he is ready to render any support to Dikio and his team as a stakeholder in the Niger Delta region whenever the need arises.
