The Vice Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party Ifeanyi Okowa is optimistic that the internal crisis rocking the party will be resolved and the party will go into next year’s general election as a United family.

Okowa stated this at the Benue Governor’s lodge Asokoro Abuja while speaking to newsmen after a closed door meeting with his Benue State counterpart Governor Samuel Ortom.

Shortly after his interaction with the Benue State Governor Vice presidential candidate for the People’s democratic party Ifeanyi Okowa said a process to reconcile all aggrieved party stakeholders was ongoing.

Responding Governor Samuel Ortom maintained that his close allay and colleague Governor Nyesom Wike needs to be appeased.

His nomination as the country’s main opposition party’s vice presidential candidate seemed to have created disaffection within some blocks of the political party, a situation both Governors insist is under control.
