Pipeline Security Contract: Niger Delta Youth Council Congratulates Tompolo
A youth group operating under the auspices of Niger Delta Youth Council has added its voice in congratulating High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, Tompolo on his pipeline security surveillance contract awarded to him by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The congratulatory message was signed and issued to newsmen in Warri yesterday by President of the group, Amb. Comr. Mamamu Bene Youkore, alias young Chief, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
The Niger Delta Youth Council had stated that Tompolo is no doubt the best choice to handle the job, stressing that the Federal Government of Nigeria has done the right thing by giving the contract to Tompolo.
However, the group had also appealed to Tompolo to carry relevant stakeholders along, adding that Niger Deltans are truly happy for the contract.
Speaking further, Amb. Mamamu Bene Youkore had prayed to the Lord Almighty to continue to give Tompolo the needed knowledge and unprecedented wisdom to handle the job fully, adding that their prayers are with him.
Mamamu asserted that his group will not renege in its support for Tompolo, stressing that they are ready to carry out any directive from Tompolo if given the opportunity to do so.
Meanwhile, it would be recalled that the Niger Delta Youth Council under the leadership of Amb. Mamamu Bene Youkore had few months ago tackled the Arewa Youths Assembly for daring to say the pipeline security contract should not be awarded to Tompolo.
