Founding APC Member In Delta, Ebiakpo Congratulates Tompolo On Surveillance Contract
A founding member of the Delta State All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Ebiakpo Ezebri has congratulated High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo on his pipeline surveillance security contract awarded to him by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The Delta State APC chieftain issued the congratulatory message to newsmen in Warri yesterday via a statement he personally signed, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
Hon. Ebiakpo stated that as a chieftain of the APC in Delta State, he will always commend good deeds, stressing that the contract given to Tompolo by the Federal Government of Nigeria is a well deserving one and a step in the right direction.
However, Ezebri had lauded the Federal Government of Nigeria for the move, stressing that the President have done the right thing by awarding the contract to Tompolo, stressing that he is competent, experienced and capable to deliver fully on the pipeline surveillance security contract.
The Delta State founding APC member stated that he had known Tompolo as an upright leader in the region that has always advocated for a better Niger Delta with so much sacrifices over the years, noting that he respects Tompolo as a leader a lot.
Ebiakpo is the pioneer financial secretary of the APC in Delta State, a position he used in wooing several Ijaws and Deltans into the party that are now leaders in their own rights in the party.
Thereafter, Hon. Ebiakpo Ezebri was later made treasurer of the APC in Delta State after serving as financial secretary of the party in his first tenure.
It would be recalled that he also contested with Sobotie Omeni for the Delta State APC Chairmanship before stepping down for Sobotie as the Chairman of the party in Delta State.
Meanwhile, Ebiakpo stated that he is ready to render any form of assistance to Tompolo in order to secure the pipelines whenever the need arises, adding that with the award of the contract to Tompolo and other things, President Buhari has proven that he truly meant well for the Niger Delta region and her people.
