2023: Burutu Is Entirely For PDP, Amakama Vows As He Receives State Youth Leader
The workaholic Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth leader of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Amakama Peremobowei Sylvester on Friday stated that come 2023, the entire Local Government is fully for the PDP. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.
Hon. Amakama made the vow yesterday at the uncommisioned councilors lodge built by the Angele’s administration in Burutu, headquarters of the Local Government while playing host to the Delta State PDP Youth Leader, Hon. Chief Victor Okemena Egbo and his entourage.
The Burutu Local Government PDP Youth Leader while hailing the state youth leader for his proactive step in visiting local government councils across Delta State noted that they are proud of him.
Hon. Peremobowei asserted that the tour of Hon. Chief Victor Okemena Egbo to the local government areas in the state shows that he is a Youth leader with capacity, stressing that Burutu is happy to host him.
However, Sylvester stated that Burutu has always been one of the strongest stronghold of the PDP in Delta State, maintaining that come 2023, Burutu will replicate it by delivering fully for the PDP.
Nevertheless, Amakama stressed that the work in delivering the PDP come 2023 has been made easy by elected officials of the party that has been aggressively addressing the developmental needs of the Local Government.
The Burutu Local government PDP Youth Leader had particularly appreciated Hon. Godknows Agele for massively supporting the programme financially and other leaders as well that shows concern.
On his part, Hon. Godknows Angele also appreciated the Delta State PDP Youth Leader, Hon. Okemena for the tour, stressing that come 2023, there is no vacancy for other parties as it is going to be fully 5 over 5 for the PDP in Burutu Local Government.
Angele had stated that he will continue to partner with the youths of Burutu Local government for a progressive Burutu, adding that he will ensure that he will do whatever he can to always support programmes of the party in the Local Government, be it Youth programme or whatsoever.
Speaking further, Chairman Angele had expressed optimism that when campaigns officially begins, he is hopeful that the state youth leader will be in Burutu where he is hoping to commission legacy projects embarked upon by his administration in Burutu Local government.
Angele also promised that he will also ensure that going forward, programmes relating to Burutu should be done at the Local Government headquarters in Burutu town.
In a swift reaction, Hon. Chief Victor Okemena Egbo particularly thanked Burutu Community for receiving him and the peaceful nature of the community.
Speaking further, the Delta State PDP Youth Leader stated that he is impressed with the turn out of youths and the love shown to him and his entourage, adding that the people of Burutu Local Government Area have over the years truly demonstrated their love for the PDP, a situation he noted that the party at the state level is aware of.
Reelling on the euphoria of happiness, Hon. Victor particularly described the Burutu tour as a special one that he will not forget in a hurry, maintaining that the tour was to enable him familiarise himself with his youths across all the 25 Local Government Areas ahead of 2023.
High point of the event was the presentation of double awards to Angele for his excellent performance as Chairman of Burutu Local Government.
