Owners Of Oil Producing Communities Meet In Warri, Congratulate Tompolo, Call For Calmness

A group operating under the auspices of Owners of Oil Producing Communities (OOPC) in Western Zone on Saturday met at the Infinity Guest House, Warri, Delta State to deliberate on burning issues in the Niger Delta region. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.

In a statement drafted and signed after the meeting by Amb. Comr. Mamamu Youkore Bene, popularly known as young chief as acting President of the body, Dr. Prophet Samuel, Coordinator and Chief Raphael Lamaleh, secretary. 

The trio had on behalf of the the Oil Producing Communities in Western Zone congratulated High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo on the pipeline surveillance security contract awarded to him by the federal government of Nigeria. 

The revered group expressed optimism that Tompolo is capable and will do the job perfectly, stressing that the choice of Tompolo is the best choice ever.

However, the group had lauded the federal Government of Nigeria for awarding the contract to a Deltan who is a foremost leader in Nigeria and Niger Delta in particular, adding that the group is so excited. 

Nevertheless, OOPC had also called on Niger Deltans to all embrace Tompolo and work for the sanitisation of the Niger Delta polluted environment, stressing that internal bickering is not necessary. 

Meanwhile, they  had called on Tompolo to use his good office in recognising the group as critical stakeholders in the Niger Delta region to enable them have a sense of belonging in the scheme of things. 

Others present during the crucial meeting include: Joseph Inikenime, Chief Capt. Bololo, Mr. Forward Clark, Mr. Emmanuel Zuokumor, James Brisibe, Mr. John Power, Mr. Michael Aribogha, Mr. Phillip Okoh and Wilfred Ikaka
