BURUTU: Oloye, Benemone Disown APC House Of Reps Campaign Council Publication Linking Them
The duo of Barr. Oloye Torugbene and Hon. Ebodezi Benemone has disowned and rejected a publication captioned “HOUSE OF REPS CAMPAIGN COUNCIL” purportedly set up for Burutu Federal Constituency wherein their names were included as members of the said campaign council.
The duo had in their separate message noted that they are proud members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stressing that they have no link or ties with the APC for them to be part of a campaign council of sort.
The duo had described the move as a calculated attempt to tarnish their hard earned reputation politically.
Their reactions read below:
My attention has been drawn to a publication “Captioned” “APC HOUSE OF REPS.CAMPAIGN COUNCIL” dated the 28th day of September,2022.Wherein my name was included as a Campaign Council member.
I wish to state unequivocally that I am not an APC card carrying member nor have I by any means shown interest to warrant this appointment.
Therefore, I want the PDP family in Burutu LGA, and the general public to discontenance the publication, for it was done mala-fide (bad-faith).The publication is to me a calculated attempt to malign my hard earned reputation and to paint me in bad light to my Political party, the PDP.
I therefore, strongly appeal to the APC campaign council to drop my name immediately.
I remain a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) card carrying member of ward 4,SEIMBIRI.

This is a great displeasure and embarrassment to see my name (Hon.Ebodezi Benemone) among Hon.E. Agbe-otus campaign structure I debunked it in it’s entirety.
