Oil Theft: Concerned Citizens Of Egbema  Expresses Confidence On Capacities Of Tompolo, Omoko

A Niger Delta Group operating under the auspices of Concerned Citizens of Egbema Kingdom (CCEK) in Delta and Edo States have expressed confidence on the capacities of High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo and Alhaji Omoko in their capacities to tackle oil theft in the Niger Delta region. 

The Concerned Citizens of Egbema Kingdom made this known to newsmen in Warri yesterday via a statement signed  by the trio of Comr. Benjamin Ofiyai, President, Engr. Evans Owei Tiemo (Secretary General CCEK) and Karenade Kala Pablogba ( CSO CCEK)
, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 

The group noted that the recent discovery of 4km oil theft pipeline by Tantita Security Services and the burning of the illegal crude oil vessel is a pointer that more is yet to come.  

The statement read below in full:

ALHAJI OMOKO AND GOVERNMENT EKPOMUPOLO BLOW, SAY NO TO OIL THEFT & OIL PIPELINE  VANDALIZATION IN NIGERIA.

The pathetic situation dwindling and draining Nigeria economy is mainly oil theft in as much as oil is the source of sustainability for  Nigeria to grow its developmental structure and growth.

Appreciating the federal government, the president and commanding officer of the federal Republic of Nigeria His Excellency General Muhamadu Buhari in taking the bull by the horn to eradicate oil theft and illegal bunkering by vandals.  

Alhaji Omoko blows hot to keep this presidential programme of pipeline surveillance and stoppage of oil theft a success by touring round the coastal Niger Delta communities sensitising and empowering  youths and the people to stop oil theft in other to make the environment conducive for companies to operate and boost oil production in Nigeria.

Alhaji Omoko the bolowei of Egbema kingdom, Ibezike zike 1 of Niger Delta is a government minded leader that has the heart to handle  this task amicably by working with every government parastator including the JTF military on the water ways to curb oil theft and pipeline vandals. 

Alhaji Omoko has mobilize houseboats, speed boats, personal  protective equipments and payments to accommodate and facilitate youths and military personnel to monitor pipelines in the coastal areas of Egbema kingdom in warri North Delta state and ovia South West lga Edo state including the bini River  coastal river route all through the tributaries to the Atlantic ocean to stop every oil theft and pipeline vandalization which has been his responsibility priority.

Concerned Citizens of Egbema Kingdom CCEK in conjunction with the Coalition for Niger Delta Environmental Protection  CFNDEP and all ijaw youths are duly in ĺsupport of this programme to help nullify oil theft, pipeline vandalization and environmental pollution in Niger Delta and Nigeria to enhance growth development and sustainable peace in the Niger Delta.
