A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth leader in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, Amb. Comr. Mamamu Bene Youkore have added his voice to that of others in congratulating speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  Delta 2023 Governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori Sheriff on his recent supreme court victory. 

Amb. Mamamu Youkore Bene, popularly known as young chief issued the congratulatory message to newsmen in Warri yesterday via a statement he personally signed, a copy of which was made available to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 


According to him, the victory of Oborevwori is a victory for the party, adding that the party must be united at all times. 


The Supreme Court sitting in Abuja on Friday 21st of October 2022 confirmed Sheriff Oborevwori as the authentic governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP of Delta State.


The apex court, in a unanimous decision by a five-man panel led by Justice Amina Augie, dismissed an appeal that was lodged against Oborevwori by an aggrieved governorship aspirant of the PDP in the state, Olorogun David Edevbie.


The verdict by the apex court therefore means that Oborevwori is the right candidate to contest the 2023 governorship election scheduled to hold in March 11, 2023.


Amb. Mamamu Youkore Bene has urged every member of the PDP, aggrieved members  to close ranks for a collective victory in the general polls come 2023, noting that there is no victor or vanquish in politics.

The young global ECOWAS peace ambassador  also noted that the victory is for the entire party, stressing that the need for everybody to remain united to sustain the dominance of the party in Delta  and beyond come 2023 is key.
