Delta South PDP Continue Ward Campaign, Storm Ode-Itsekiri, Pessu, Okere Edjeba Wards

As the Delta South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) kick-start its ward to ward campaign yesterday ahead of the 2023 general elections, the campaign train have continued today by visiting and campaigning to more wards in Delta South. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.

The Tuesday 15th of November 2022 campaign team of the Delta South led by Chief Dr. Julius Takeme, Delta South PDP Chairman began the day’s Campaign by first storming Ode-Itsekiri Ward.

From Ode-Itsekiri Ward, the train moved to Pessu ward, from Pessu ward it moved to Okere ward 8 and from Okere ward 8 to Edjeba ward to wrap off the day’s ward to ward campaign. 

In his speech at the various wards, Dr. Julius Takeme, Chairman of the Delta South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had charged the good people of Ode-Itsekiri, Pessu, Okere ward 8 and Edjeba ward 10 all in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State to vote only PDP come 2023 for a better and stronger Nigeria. 

According to Dr. Takeme, he said the various wards have always delivered for the PDP, adding that nothing can change that come 2023, stressing that Nigeria cannot be allowed to sink beyond this level that the APC led Federal Government has plunged Nigeria into. 

Speaking further, Takeme noted that it is only the Atiku/Okowa PDP Presidential ticket that can guarantee a better and flourishing Nigeria where everyone can sleep freely without fear of terrorists attack and hard life. 

However, the Delta South PDP Chairman also asserted that Deltans are aware of how Governor Ifeanyi Okowa who is now the PDP vice Presidential candidate is passionate about the development of Delta State, adding that his developmental blueprint and human empowerment disposition as historic and equal to none, stressing that with Okowa as the vice president of Nigeria by God’s willing, Delta State will no doubt record more progress. 

Takeme particularly lauded the ward leaders and the massive turn out of the PDP faithfuls, adding that PDP will do more for the people. 

“Today is a great day for us as members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). We are aware that this ancestral Ward has always been a PDP Ward. To us we have just come home to play with our people. 

“We don’t need to say much as Nigerians are already suffering and suffocating from the APC led Federal Government of Nigeria. We are tired of the massive level of poverty and hardship caused by the APC. Insecurity, high price of commodities, steady fall of the naira against dollar. Atiku/Okowa will fix Nigeria to a level we all will be proud of. 

“We have to vote for Sheriff/Onyeme ticket for Governor of Delta State. Ejele for Senate, Thomas Ereyitomi for House of Representatives, Augustine Oroye for House of Assembly Warri South, Constituency 1, Austin Opuoru, Delta State House of Assembly, Constituency 2, We must deliver 6/6.

“PDP is the way out of our baleful experience. 

Dr. Julius had assured the various ward leaders that their plights will be reported to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and Sheriff Oborevwori for action. 

Let It Be PDP All The Way – Pondi 

On his part, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of Representatives had in his solidarity message charged the people to vote for PDP all the way come 2023. 

According to him, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the only sure party Nigerians can trust, adding that PDP represents progress, adding that Okowa has demonstrated uncommon leadership before Deltans and Nigerians, stressing that the Atiku/Okowa pair is a divine one. 

Speaking further, Julius Pondi further charged the people to vote Sheriff/Onyeme Delta Governorship ticket as they have the capacity to carry on and improve on the legacies of Governor Okowa. 

In their messages, Prince Dr. Michael Diden, PDP Delta South Senatorial Candidate, popularly known as Ejele, Chief Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi (JP), House of Representatives, Warri Federal Constituency, Hon. Matthew Opuoru, member representing Warri South,  Constituency2, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Augustine Oroye (JP), member representing Warri South Constituency 1, Delta State House of Assembly had all in their separate messages appealed to the people of Ode-Itsekiri, Pessu, Okere ward 8 and Edjeba ward 10 to vote for the PDP come 2023 general elections, maintaining that there is going to be a better deal for the people.
