Burial Rites For Late Friday Kalaroo Begins Today With Agula Masquerade At Ofougbene

We the families of Ofouware and Bomuzuwei of Ikileware of Ofougbene and Odimodi Communities in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State hereby announce the traditional burial rites of late Elder Pilot Friday Kalaroo aged 89 years (1908 – 1998) who died on November 1998.
He is survived by 4 Children, 48 grand Children, 202 great grand children, 26 great great grand children and others.
Traditional burial rites:
Friday 9th of December 2022,
2pm. Agula Masquerade display.
7pm till dawn, traditional wake keep.
In-law greetings (9th of December to 15th December 2022).
Saturday 10th December 2022.
Traditional burial rites continue.
Monday 12th December.
Masquerade free day. Agula food day.
Tuesday 13th December 2022.
Traditional burial rites continue till Thursday December 15th.
Thursday December 15th 2022.
7pm. Final display of masquerade.
8pm till dawn. Traditional wake keeping.
