The ad hoc verification committee established by Presidential Amnesty Programme has appealed to all delegates with bank account complications involving invalid BVN or those whose BVNs are not linked to accounts, as well as those whose accounts do not exist, to exercise patience as efforts were being made to rectify the issues through an On-line portal.

It was learnt that as a result, members of the committee have started processing the data inputs of affected accounts to the dedicated website.

A statement made available to Newsmen by the media aide to the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Mr Thomas Peretus has it that the verification committee has since assured delegates that once it concludes the online verification and the accounts have been cleared, they will receive their stipends as usual.

He noted that he learnt from the committee that the essence of the portal is to enable the affected beneficiaries to upload required relevant information such as name, account number, BVN, camp name and the particular phase the delegate belongs.

This was just as he said with the submission of the above requisite information online, it will be assumed that each individual verification is done.

The statement from the media aide to the PAP’S Interim Administrator read in parts: “This is a seamless exercise put in place by management in the interest of delegates.
“Therefore, the committee expects the cooperation and understanding of all delegates”.
